Next, we installed a high-quality aggregate base designed to provide both structural support and effective drainage. The base was installed in multiple compacted layers, a process that increases density, eliminates air pockets, and creates a solid foundation capable of supporting the patio for decades.

The retaining wall holds back soil, stabilizes the raised areas, and reinforces the integrity of the foundation. It also serves as a permanent edge restraint, helping keep the paver system securely in place over time.

The homeowners selected a contemporary paver system featuring multiple tones and sizes of pavers arranged in a clean, geometric pattern. A contrasting border frames the patio, creating definition and a polished transition between spaces.
To add a focal point, we incorporated a decorative flagstone inlay circle that extends beyond the main footprint. Along the curved edge, the custom seat wall provides both structural support and a welcoming place for guests to gather.
